You may or may not have caught on to the fact that we are traveling in a travel trailer with five of our ten kids as we explore the United States. We have a long history of adventurous road trips over the years starting with our honeymoon when we drove from Mesa, Arizona to the Grand Canyon and on to our first home in Utah.

In 2014 we hit the road pulling our 2001 Terry 31G behind us. We traveled from Alaska to Florida and back again over 7 months. Our next adventure started in July of 2016, again starting in Alaska, exploring the Pacific Northwest, south to Dixie for the winter and back again eleven months later. After 4 months enjoying the summer in Alaska we’re on the road again. Each trip we’ve slightly modified the same trailer we’ve owned since we purchased it new 17 years ago.

People are usually curious how we’ve managed to travel with up to 5 kids and 2 adults AND all their stuff in such a small space so here’s a video tour I did in the fall of 2016 when we still had 6 kids with us. Feel free to ask questions in the comments and I’ll do my best to answer them.

Excited to be featured in this video from Less Junk More Travel. Check it out to see ours and six other rigs.
